Your Rights Under the CCPA/CPRA

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) grant you specific rights regarding your personal information. This page explains those rights and how to exercise them.

1. Right to Know

You have the right to request disclosure of:

We collect information such as: account identifiers, email address, date of birth (for age verification), device and usage data, chat interaction logs (anonymized), and payment processing records. This data is used to operate and improve the EMORA platform, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

2. Right to Delete

You have the right to request deletion of the personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions (such as data we are required to retain by law, or data necessary to complete transactions you have requested).

To request deletion of your personal data, please contact us at privacy@emora.ai or use the account deletion option in your account settings. We will respond to verifiable requests within 45 days.

3. Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing

You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information to third parties. EMORA does not sell your personal information. However, we may share certain data (such as analytics identifiers) with advertising or analytics partners. You can opt out of this sharing below.

4. Right to Correct

5. Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information

You have the right to limit our use of sensitive personal information (such as your date of birth, which we collect for age verification) to uses that are necessary to provide the service. We use your date of birth solely for age verification and do not use it for profiling or advertising purposes.

6. Right to Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights. This means we will not:

  • Deny you goods or services.
  • Charge you different prices or rates for goods or services.
  • Provide you a different level or quality of goods or services.
  • Suggest that you may receive a different price or rate or level or quality of goods or services.

7. How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any of your California privacy rights, you may:

  • Email us at privacy@emora.ai with the subject line "CCPA Privacy Request".
  • Use the opt-out button in Section 3 above (for opt-out requests, requires sign-in).
  • Use the account deletion option in your account settings. account settings.

We will respond to verifiable consumer requests within 45 days. If we require more time (up to 90 days total), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.

You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We may require verification of the agent's authorization and your identity before processing such a request.
